Michael Green is Professor of Humanities and Internal Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine where he sees patients as a primary care physician and Chairs the Hospital Ethics Committee. He is an NIH-funded researcher in the area of communication and end-of-life decision-making and is co-creator (with Benjamin Levi) of “Making Your Wishes Known,” an online advance care planning decision aid. Dr. Green also has an interest in the use of comics in medical education and is a founding Board Member of the Graphic Medicine International Collective. He is co-author of the Graphic Medicine Manifesto from Penn State University Press and published several landmark articles on Graphic Medicine.
